The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is offering engineering scholarships to BE/BTech students applicable only to the Mumbai colleges included in the scholarship programme for the academic year 2012-2013.
A) EXCELLENCE AWARD & CERTIFICATES OF MERIT
One Excellence Award of Rs 1,00,000/- and two Certificates of Merit of Rs. 50,000/- each are

Eligibility Criteria for Merit-Cum-Means

Narotam Sekhsaria LOAN Scholarship Programme NSF 2012
Under its Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship Programme, the Foundation awards interest free loan scholarships to Indian students with a consistently good academic record. The amount of scholarship, up to a maximum of Rs. Ten Lacs, is decided as per the assessment of the Foundation. Scholarships are offered for postgraduate studies at prestigious institutions in India and abroad, in the fields of Pure Sciences, Applied Sciences, Social Sciences and Humanities, Law, Architecture and Management.
Scholarship deadline is before 18th March 2011 and 2012 scholarship is coming soon .
Selected students will have the benefit of the Foundations mentoring program, where they will be guided and advised by mentors from the academia, industry and the professions.
Eligibility for Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship 2012
1. Indian nationals, residing in India
2. Students below 30 years of age as on 31st Jan 2011
3. Graduates of a recognized Indian university with a consistently good academic record (Students in the final year of the degree course, or those awaiting results are also eligible)

How to apply for Narotam Sekhsaria Scholarship 2012
1. An application fee of Rs 300/- by cash/DD/MO drawn in favour of Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation, should accompany the duly filled forms. ( No cheques will be accepted)
All applications will be screened for short listing. Short listed candidates will be required to attend a personal interview at Mumbai during June 2011. The interview is mandatory and is the basis for final selection.

5.In order to be considered for a Paramonnati Scholarship, candidates must submit a completed application at the Nirav Modi Foundation office in Mumbai along with the following documents:

b.Address proof - Copy of Ration card & voting identity card.
Proof of admission/selection in the course for which one is seeking a scholarship, if already obtained .
d.Copy of Birth certificate/School leaving certificate.
e.Fee structure from the institute in which you would like to gain admission.
f.Copy of family income proof - Salary certificate/Government approved income certificate/self declaration/other.
g.Copy of last 3 months’ electricity bill, telephone bill (landline and mobile) and rent bill.

Selection Process :
1.Only completed applications will be considered.
2.All original documents to be produced for verification at the time of submission of the application.
3.A home visit and interviews with the two recommending individuals will be conducted to verify the information provided in the application form, especially that related to the socio-economic details of the candidate and their family.
4.Shortlisted candidates will then be invited for a personal interview.
5. A parent or guardian needs to be present at the time of the interview.
6. If the candidate is applying for a scholarship for Junior College, the Foundation may refer them for Aptitude, Interest and Personality (AIP) Tests. The Foundation will bear the costs of these tests. Admission into the scholarship programme will depend on AIP Test results and related reports.
7. The candidate will be sent to a consulting medical practitioner for a thorough medical check up, which includes an HIV test, blood test, urine test and gynecological check up (only for girls). The cost of each ofhtese tests will be borne by the Foundation.
8. If required, a candidate may be called for a second interview.
9.Final decision of admission will be based on a review of academic performance, economic need, the medical check up report and, if conducted, AIP Test results.
10. Written confirmation will be given to the candidate if selected for the scholarship. However, support granted shall be subject to the candidate being accepted by the academic institution indicated by the candidate on the scholarship application form.
11. All decisions of the selection panel will be final. Any effort to influence the decision will lead to disqualification.

Change in Course of Study :
If, at any point, a Paramonnati Scholar wishes to make any changes to the course of study, institution or coaching class that have been mutually agreed upon in the final selection round, they will be required to submit a written letter stating their justifications. Continuation of support from the Foundation, with or without the change in course of study, will be entirely at the discretion of Trustees.
Continuation of Paramonnati Scholarship :
Continuation of the scholarship is at the discretion of the Foundation and will be dependent on satisfactory continued performance and attendance of all activities/classes that are planned for the Paramonnati Scholars’ benefits

विद्यार्थ्यांना त्यांच्या शैक्षणिक वर्षादरम्यान अभ्यासासाठी अनेक पुस्तके नित्यनियमाने लागतात. अशी पुस्तके विकत घेण्याशिवाय त्यांना पर्याय नसतो. परंतू आर्थिकदृष्टया गरीब विद्यार्थ्यांना ते परवडत नाही. म्हणून या प्रबोधिनामध्ये राज्यभरातील गरीबवगरजूविद्यार्थ्यांसाठी `संत ज्ञानेश्वर पुस्तक पेढी' सुरु करण्यात आली असून त्याचा लाभ अनेक विद्यार्थी घेत आहेत. या पुस्तक पेढीतील पुस्तके सूंपर्ण वर्षासाठी विद्यार्थ्यांना विनामूल्य पुरविली जातात.

Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarships 2012
Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj offers Scholarships for the Indian students and overseas students of Indian origin, undergoing full-time Degree courses in Indian Universities and IITs.
Scholarships will open from 15 July 2012 .
S.K Patil Loan Scholarships 2012
The Trustees of Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj invite applications from students of Indian Nationality of the S.K. Patil Loan Scholarships for higher studies abroad in Engineering, Technology, Medicine and similar Professional Courses. If you are looking for scholarship on Medicine courses like MBBS, BDS, Ayurved and Homeopathy you may apply for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj scholarships. On the basis of merit the 200 no of students will be selected for the award of Scholarships .
Eligibility for Shri Brihad Bharatiya Samaj Scholarships 2012
1. Minimum of 70% marks for First year students
2. Rest with minimum 60% marks in their last University examination.
3. Female students studying in first year and above for Nursing and Education [minimum of 45% marks] are eligible.
4. Guardian’s total annual income should not exceed 60,000
5. Applicants should satisfy the following conditions:
a) They must possess a First Class degree with a recognized Indian University and have consistently First Class academic record right from SSC examination.
b) They must have secured admission, or should have at least applied for admission, in reputable foreign universities.
c) The age of students at the time of application should not be above 27 years.
Annual income should be Less than Rs.60,000/- and Students in receipt of Scholarships from the Central Government Scholarships in India or State Government Scholarships in India or University Scholarships in India, Colleges Scholarships in India will not be eligible.
Candidates studying in the Final Year of the degree are also eligble to apply provided they produce their final year certificate before end of June.
