Overview:
The Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and J.R.D. Tata Trust offer scholarships for undergraduate studies in India according to the defined selection criteria for the year.

Application Procedure:
Online applications are invited for the scholarship programme which is announced on the website for a brief period in September / October every year. Interested students are requested to visit the website for more information on the guidelines and criteria.
The scholarship programme for the year 2013-2014 will commence from 19th September 2013.   
The form will be available to the students for 
viewing purposes only, 
on 19th September and 20th September 2013.

Please Note: Grant-making is solely at the discretion of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust and the Allied Trusts. All grants and scholarships are given, subject to the eligibility criteria being met and the availability of funding.

Scholarships

The Narotam Sekhsaria Foundation is offering engineering scholarships to BE/BTech students applicable only to the Mumbai colleges included in the scholarship programme for the academic year 2013-14. 


EXCELLENCE AWARD & CERTIFICATES OF MERIT
One Excellence Award of Rs 1,00,000/- and two Certificates of Merit of Rs. 50,000/- each are offered to outstanding students from the final year engineering students of those engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme

Criteria for Merit
The criteria for deciding merit include the marks obtained at examinations and the candidate’s overall performance at co-curricular and extra-curricular activities during the entire course


Documents to be attached

Attested copies of all mark sheets and certificates in support of your educational qualifications
Attested copies of MHT-CET/AIEEE/IIT-JEE Score cards
Attested copies of Award letters of scholarships/ awards/ prizes received
Attested copies of Certificate of participation at seminars/workshops/conferences
Bonafide certificate from college
Copy of college identity card


MERIT- CUM - MEANS SCHOLARSHIPS
100 scholarships upto a maximum of Rs.30,000/- each to be awarded to the undergraduate students of the engineering colleges included in the scholarship programme across all the four years

Eligibility Criteria
a)     Candidates in the first year of the BE/BTech programme must have obtained 85% and above aggregate marks in Class XII.
b)    Candidates in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of the BE/ BTech must have obtained 70% and above aggregate marks in the previous year.
c)     Gross family income of candidate must be less than Rs. 50,000/- per month.
d)    Overall meritorious performance of candidates.

Attested copies of MHT-CET/AIEEE/IIT-JEE Score cards
Attested copies of Award letters of scholarships/ awards/ prizes received
Fee receipt of the current year
Bonafide certificate from college
Copy of college identity card
Proof of gross family income per month (Income certificate/ latest IT returns/ Form 16/ latest salary slip)

Incomplete applications and late submissions will not be considered.

Students who have applied for other scholarships are also eligible to apply.
